Addition to the side

I was thinking today about what to do when members do become pregnant. I mean, it is something we all hope will happen to all of us, but it can be a rather interesting circumstance when in a group of people still trying to achieve what you have. So I started a little success list on the side. Hope is our first success :) (even though she was pregnant when she joined). I just don't want this blog to be so focused on the "sorrow" that we can't see the "hope" (ha ha... ironic, eh?). So to celebrate the joy that some members have found, I'll keep a little running list of success. I know we have talked about how difficult it is to hear of our friend's pregnancies, but I pray that we can be truly happy and joyful over FH&S members who do become pregnant... knowing the reality of the heartache that led them to their joy. Let me know if there is something else you would like me to add/remove/change on the blog!
It's official. This blog is now private. In honor of our privacy, I'd LOVE to see pictures of everyone and their family! Post away!

Going private

I wanted to know what everyone thinks about making this a private blog. At first I left it public so people could join and see what it was all about, but now that we're going on 2 months and we are sharing rather personal information, I wanted to see what others think. In the next day or so I am going to make everyone who is already a contributor an administrator. This means that you will be able to add others to contribute. Also, if you are a reading and are not yet a member, please leave your e-mail address and I will add you :) Happy New Year!
Let me add, I am not blog savy... I'm still trying to figure this thing out. So if you would like to become a contributor, please leave a comment with your e-mail and I'll add you. Or e-mail me at Eternityepi3 at g mail.

Welcome!

There are many blogs and support groups for people facing fertility issues. But where does the woman who already has kids fall? How many times has that woman heard "Well, at least you have your ___ kid(s)"? How many times have we received looks from others at church when they learn we only have one child and he/she is over 2? Or heard comments about how women with lots of children have tremendous faith? Where it is true I thank my Heavenly Father EVERY day for my beautiful daughter and I am SOO grateful for her, it does not erase the pain of thinking I may not be able to have my dream of 6 kids. I have two half siblings, and the youngest of the two is 21 years older than I am. I lived like an only child. I did not have anyone to play with, to confide in, to experience my youth with. It was lonely. I saw all my friends with their siblings and close family and used to cry to my mom, asking her to have another child (she was 42 when she had me!). My children would experience tha...
