Pregnancy Tests

I still have yet to find pregnancy tests at the dollar store, but I did find these. If you order 1-9 it's $0.95 each. 10-19 $0.85 each. Plus if you use the code SPRINGFUN you get 10% off the order. If your order is $14.95 or more, you get free, same day shipping! Otherwise shipping is $1.99. I just filled a cart, to see what I'd get... and if I buy 17 pregnancy test strips, and one collection cup (they are not midstream tests... though the site has those too), shipping and all comes to 15.94!! What a deal! If I keep checking like I have been, I could use those up quickly!

I used these tests and they weren't bad. They didn't give me the results I wanted, but I can't blame that on the tests :D

Jen - this reminds me, did you get the preseed package? I'm curious as to how the product was. I would love a review.

I just ordered a package with both the predictors and the pregnancy tests! Im actually quite excited to get them. The promotional code "didnt apply" for what i ordered but the free shipping did.

Oh dear, please no one get mad at me about my opinion of these tests. I belong to a couple of IF websites, and everyone who uses the blue handled pregnancy tests from earlypregnancytests.com has nothing but confusion. They are NOTORIOUS for their evaporation lines; which leads to a lot of confusion and ultimately, heartache.

The only internet cheapie pregnancy tests I've ever liked are the Aimstick Dipstick tests from http://www.babyhopes.com They are more pricey than the blue handled cheapie tests, but they do NOT have evaporation lines and I have never gotten a misleading result.

I just don't want anyone to hurt anymore than they already do. :(

I noticed the evap line, but it was easy to tell that it was in fact an evap line. If you know it's there, it's not bad. Especially since if it did show a positive I'm sure most of you ladies would take several to confirm.

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered a few, but I also made another purchase in addition (yes Hope, I did get the preseed. I meant to send you shipping $, but the box was tossed before I copied down your info. If you wouldn't mind sending me your address, I'll stick a few $ in the mail).

However, I agree with Hope. It's something to keep in mind, but if I got a positive test, I would definitely test again! Plus I need an inexpensive way to satisfy my testing needs. The last 2 cycles combined, I went through 6 tests. That's just a lot of money, but I would have gone insane if I didn't test. These tests are for people who have been trying to conceive for a while and are obsessive testers... like me :)

Jen- it was significantly cheaper than I was expecting. It turned out to be change, don't worry about shipping - I just wanted to make sure you got it.

I agree with you about the obsession is quickly becomes an addiction - this is a cheap way to satisfy that addiction. I kept good ones in my cabinet but couldn't use them until a cheapy said positive.
